A Bit About Me

Humans are the culmination of their lived experiences. I have had many experiences in my life that have shaped me along my journey. My life-long visual arts practice has taught me how to communicate in a variety of ways, to trust the process, and to observe every detail. My time in public education taught me how to present information in a way that helps others learn, to see a project from start to finish, and how to collaborate with others to make meaningful connections for learners.

I continue to look for new adventures, whether it be trying a new art material or visiting a new location. I also love spending time with the ones who matter most to me, especially my 2 fur babies Bill Murray and Old Yeller. I’ve got a makers heart and continue to create pieces in a variety of media; lately I have been working with oil pastels and crochet.
